We know how military moves go
Orders arrive late, dates shift, and the move happens whether the timeline makes sense or not. We move military families around Southern Maryland all year — including PCS season — and we build our scheduling around the reality that your dates might change.
Flexible when orders change
If your report date moves after you book, tell us as soon as you know. We will shift your move date whenever we possibly can. We have seen every version of this: delayed orders, expedited orders, housing that fell through at the last minute. It does not rattle us.
What we handle for PCS families
Full household moves, partial moves, packing services, and short-term storage for the gap between housing. We are careful with the things that matter most on a PCS move: uniforms and gear, kids' rooms that need to feel normal fast, and the paperwork box that should never go on the truck.
Near the bases
We regularly serve families at Naval Support Facility Indian Head, NAS Patuxent River and the Lexington Park area, and Joint Base Andrews and the surrounding towns of Camp Springs, Morningside, and Clinton. Local knowledge means we know the gates, the neighborhoods, and the housing areas.
How It Works
Step 1 — Orders review. We look at your PCS orders and timeline. Report dates, housing situation, and any special requirements. Military moves have paperwork — we know the drill.
Step 2 — The estimate. Written estimate based on a walkthrough or video survey. We work with your TMO timeline and weight allowances.
Step 3 — Packing. Full or partial packing by our trained crew. Military moves often happen fast — we can pack a house in a day when orders drop late.
Step 4 — Moving day. Efficient, professional, on time. We know the base access procedures for Andrews, Bolling, and the other DMV installations.
Step 5 — Delivery. At the new duty station, everything placed by room and reassembled. We coordinate with your report date.
Step 6 — Claims support. Full documentation for every item. If anything is damaged, our claims process is straightforward and military-friendly.
PCS Moves Are Our Specialty
Waldorf sits in prime military territory — Andrews, Bolling, Patuxent River, and Quantico are all within reach. We move service members constantly and we understand PCS life: the late orders, the shifting dates, the weight limits, and the stress.
We work with your timeline, not against it. Orders change? We adapt. Need storage between duty stations? We handle that. The move happens on military time, which means flexibility is mandatory.
Weight tickets matter. For PPM moves, the weight determines your reimbursement. We provide certified weight tickets and help you understand the process. Our estimates include weight calculations so you can plan.
We also handle the DPM (direct procurement method) moves where the military contracts us directly. The paperwork is different but we know it. Tell us which type of move and we handle the corresponding process.
We also handle the vehicle shipment coordination. Your POV needs to get to the new duty station too. We work with trusted auto transport companies and coordinate timing with the household goods move.
Unaccompanied baggage shipments are another specialty. When the full household goods shipment takes weeks, the express shipment gets you essentials fast. We handle both timelines.
We understand the emotional weight of PCS moves. Leaving friends, schools, and routines is hard — especially for kids. Our crews are respectful of the stress and work efficiently to get your family settled fast. The faster the new house feels like home, the easier the transition.
